Bulk Email Verification: Clean Your List Before the Next Campaign
How to verify a whole email list in minutes, what Deliverable, Risky and Unknown really mean, and what to do with each group.
Read articleGuessing a work email is easy. Knowing the guess is right is the hard part. Send to a wrong address and it bounces, and enough bounces start to hurt every email you send. Here is how to find a work address properly, and how Domailfix - Email Finder & Verification makes it quick.
Why guessing is not enough
You can often make a reasonable guess at someone's work address, but you cannot tell whether a guess is real just by looking at it.
- A wrong guess bounces, and bounces damage your sender reputation
- Sending a test email to check an address is slow and can annoy the recipient
- Addresses go out of date when people change roles or leave
How to find an address with Domailfix
All you need is the person's full name and their company website. The search takes seconds and no email is ever sent to the person.
- Open the Find email tab. Go to domailfix.achivix.com and choose the finder.
- Enter the name and website. Type the person's first and last name and their company website, such as acme.com.
- Click Find. Domailfix searches for the address and checks it in one step.
- Copy the result. You get the address with a clear status, so you know whether it is safe to use.
What the results mean
Found
The address is confirmed. Safe to use.
Not found
No valid address could be found for this person at this company.
Accept-all
The company accepts email for any address, so no single address can be confirmed. The most likely address is shown, clearly labelled as unconfirmed.
Unknown
A definite answer was not available this time. Try again later.
You use 2 credits only when an address is confirmed. If nothing is found, you are not charged.
Tips for better results
- Use the company's own website, such as acme.com, not a Gmail or other public email domain
- Enter the name the person uses at work, including both first and last name
- If a company is accept-all, confirm the suggested address another way before a big send
- Only look up people you have a lawful reason to contact, and follow GDPR, the DPDP Act and anti-spam rules
When you need more than one address
Domailfix is built for finding and checking addresses one at a time or in a list you already have. If you need hundreds of decision makers researched and verified to a brief, Achivix's research team does that as a service through Lead List Building and Contact Enrichment.
Need hundreds of contacts rather than one? Our lead list building team researches and verifies them for you, and contact enrichment fills in missing emails and phone numbers in the list you already have.
